So the World's Largest Athlete has put out his own family sitcom and well... it ain't half bad.
The Big Show Show, yes that is the name of the series, is about a pro-wrestler(The Big Show) who has retired from wrestling to spend more time with his family. His daughter(Lola) from his first marriage is flying to stay with him and her step-mother(Casey), but she is about to find out that her two step-sisters(Mandy and JJ) can be a handful.
Overall it is a very touching story, watching one of everyone's childhood heroes try and adapt to fatherhood and just like the rest of us making some mistakes. This, however, leads to some very humorous situations.
The acting far exceeds anything I expected. Show does a phoemonial job portraying a doting father who has no idea what he is doing. The camera work while very basic is good and gets the job done and the story across. The comedy is very good and uplifting if you want to take a break, sit down with your family, laugh and bond.
The only problems I can find with the show is that while the episodes are connected they do not feel as such and that right now everyone is making sitcoms so this one may get lost in the shuffle for the top new sitcom. That being said I thoroughly enjoyed the show and look forward to season 2. Overall Rating: 6.5/10 Recommend for: Families, WWE fans and people who just want a laugh and a break from the seriousness of the world.
