I had never heard of this anime before and was wanting to watch something like Fairy Tail. Yes, I enjoy Fairy Tail, no this was not it, but Google recommended it, so thought why not, let's just check it out.
Noragami is about Yato, a minor god who has been depraved of worship. In his journey to gain followers and at least one shrine dedicated to him, he teams up Hiyori Iki, a human girl. Together they try to spread his reputation across all of Japan.
Considering the fact this was made in 2015, the animation is rather bad and better animation has been done, even in prior years.
The story is enjoyable and it has a Bleach kind of feel to it. However, Bleach did it much better. To make a comparison Bleach is the older brother who plays first team rugby and gets As in school, while Noragami is the younger sibling who plays 2nd team and gets Cs. Nothing wrong with it but there are better things out there.
The character arcs are alright. Though it was difficult for me to come to care for the characters or relate to them in any way.
Don't get me wrong, there are thousands of worse things to watch. That being said, there are better.

Recommended for: People who need to find something to watch but don't want to watch utter trash
