After watching the Naruto Unleashed series, I found it difficult to get into Naruto Shippuden. However, after playing the Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 game, I am going to have to give the Naruto Shippuden series another go. It has an awesome name though.
Taking place during the fourth great ninja war, Madara has been resurrected. Now to defeat their most dangerous threat, enemies and allies combine forces as the Allied Shinobi Forces. They take control of the iconic Naruto characters from Naruto, Saske, Sakura and Kakshi to the First, Second and Third Hokage to Orochimaru.
In short, the gameplay is nothing special as there are 100 different cookie cutter Bandai games. These are a ‘beat ‘em up’ games. There are some great ones like My Hero Academia games and the like, and I suppose if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. But, depending on the success of the new Fairy Tail game, I would be up for a similar Naruto game mode going through the whole Shippuden story arc. The multiplayer is where the game shines, offering a good time playing with your friends and family. It does also makes one feel untouchable
and incredibly powerful.
The story is incredibly good and as stated before has convinced me to watch the Naruto Shippuden series. The characters are really fun, and the war arc is a really awesome to play through. There isn’t too much in the way of character arc but is to be expected.
This game was a great way to spend a day playing through the story mode and is definitely worth a play through, if not just to play the multiplayer.
