Now this one I have personally been looking forward to. I am going to put a spoiler warning here, as what we have to talk about cannot be spoken about without spoilers.
Izuku Midoriya, better known as Deku, is studying at UA to become the number one hero is a world of quirks(superpowers). This season Izuku must team up with a member of the Big Three at UA, Mirio. Together they must try to save a mysterious girl, Eri, and help her find her smile.
Now good animation is to be expected. The animation I will not lie is nothing special, as a lot of shonens look the same nowadays.
My Hero Academia has had a few massive character arcs, in my opinion, Todoroki being my personal favorite. This season, however, had amazing character arcs. Eri's character arc was incredible and so emotional, when she did finally smile, I will be the first to admit I shed a tear. However, my favorite character has to be Endeavour, the current number one hero. Many people do not like Endeavour and his redemption arc, but I enjoyed watching a hero who once fought for just the fame and money, start fighting for his family and gaining conscience.
The story arcs itself were good, the first one being the best. Overhaul played an incredible villain, who was both menacing and dangerous. The second story arc I did not like at all. Gentlemen Criminal was a horrible villain and it was clear that he would not make a name for himself, this was a major waste of a villain who if done right could have been really good. Then the Nomu arc was awesome.
Overall this season of My Hero Academia was awesome. Coming in with good character arcs and story arcs, it is probably my favorite.
Overall Rating: 7.6/10
Recommended for: Anyone who just wants a good time.
