Assassin's Creed: Origins

So, with the announcement of Assassin's Creed Vallhalla, I thought of revisiting one the newer Assassin's Creed. I went with Origins, as it is the better of the two.

You play as Bayek of Siwa, a Medjay on a mission with a vengeance. A cult, known as the Order of Ancients, has killed his son, so he and his wife will take up a mission to overthrow the Order and the puppet Pharaoh Ptolemy. This journey will take them all over Egypt and introduce them to a variety of characters, including the legendary Cleopatra.

The graphics and landscapes are incredible and one of the most beautiful sceneries in a recent game I’ve yet seen.

The story in this one is awesome and is much better than Odyssey, however, the thing I prefer in the Odyssey is the fact your choices change the landscape. One thing I am hoping they cut from Valhalla is the time jump to the present.

The levelling up system is kind of bad as the player has to work their ass off to even get close to finishing the game.

Overall it is a really good game and definitely worth the play through while waiting for Assassin's Creed Valhalla.

Overall Rating: 8.1/10

Recommended for: History fans and just people looking for a good game.
