Spawn shoots holes through two guys, a chain wraps around more of them. Blood splatters in waves all over the place. Spawn rushes through someone leaving bones and guts to fall to the floor.
We are jumped back in time to a much smaller version of Spawn on a toilet reading a comic, he has gone to Comic-Con to announce his new movie. He leaves the bathroom and as he walks he hears a group of girls say that Hall H is where the news and previews are being screened. He decides to go that way to announce his movie. As he starts going up the stairs, he sees a line of cosplaying superheroes. He tells them all to move out of the way because this is ‘his’ time to shine. A "Wolverine" informs him that the start of the contest is in the back. He laughs and replies that once he reveals his news it will no longer be a contest. The cosplayers grab at Spawn but he pushes them back.
A chubby ‘Hulk’ manages to grab hold of him and flings him into the air. Spawn shouts that no one wants a second Hulk sequel. Spawn wraps his cape around the Hulk's face and suffocates him, falling on top of Spawn. He says that the Hulk is so heavy it must be both Edward Norton and Mark Ruffalo.
He then pulls a gun on Deadpool saying, “Sorry Ryan Gosling, there isn't enough room for two red and black R-Rated superheroes.” Then he blows a hole through Deadpool's face.
‘Yoda’ and ‘Darth Vader’ tell Spawn that he is going to be disqualified for bringing a real gun. Spawn grabs Yoda as Vader swings his saber, decapitating the Yoda. Spawn kicks Yoda's head at Vader as he shoots the chandelier which crushes Darth Vader.
Spawn begins to run as two San Diego Comic-Con guards approach him. He leaps over them and sees an ‘Iron Man’ blocking the door to the competition. He grabs the red carpet and pulls it, pulling the carpet out from under Iron Man so that he tumbles to the ground.
Spawn walks on Iron Man's chest and cuts open the armour to reveal a nerdy kid inside. He demands to know what is happening and why this is Robert Downey Jr. Spawn then blows him up. The explosion kills ‘Pikachu’, ‘Green Lantern’ and another ‘Wolverine’.
Following this, just because he can, he cuts the heads off ‘Red Skull’ and ‘Donald Trump’ and swaps their bodies. Blood and gore surround him as he walks over and taps ‘Venom’ on the shoulder. Venom tells him it is not his turn, so Spawn kicks him in the knee and farts into the costume.
Spawn opens the door to find zombie walkers and the cast of the Walking Dead. He rapid-fire shoots all of them. For those that have not died, he uses his chains to cut off an assortment of limbs.
The audience begins to clap, applauding what they think is the greatest staged event at the competition ever! Todd McFarlane approaches and gives Spawn the trophy. “Isn’t he cute?” he asks the audience. Spawn is offended and rips off his mask. The crowd claps more at the lengths he went to. Spawn, now fed up, blows a hole in Todd McFarlane's chest. He emerges from Todd’s chest, and smiling, says, “This is only the beginning.”
